These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the DressCode Society website and participation in experiences, events and related services organised by DressCode Society.

By using our website, making a reservation, purchasing a ticket or attending a DressCode Society experience, you agree to these Terms & Conditions together with any event-specific conditions communicated to you before booking.

1. About DressCode Society

DressCode Society creates and organises curated experiences, events and gatherings in distinctive locations.

The organiser is:

DressCode Society
VAT: BE1015.847.841
312 av. Vilvorde
1130 Brussels
Belgium

Email: hello@dresscodesociety.com

Participation in experiences is offered through individual event reservations or invitations.

2. Eligibility and Participation

Participation in DressCode Society experiences is subject to availability and any event-specific eligibility requirements.

Unless otherwise stated for a particular event, participants must be at least 18 years old.

Minors may attend certain experiences where expressly permitted by DressCode Society and, where appropriate, with the authorisation or accompaniment of a parent or legal guardian.

Guests are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information when booking or communicating with DressCode Society.

DressCode Society may refuse or cancel participation where reasonably necessary for safety, legal, operational or conduct-related reasons.

3. Event Reservations

Participation in DressCode Society experiences is by reservation, invitation or confirmed booking.

Places may be limited.

A reservation is considered confirmed only once the required payment or deposit has been received and confirmation has been issued by DressCode Society.

Specific booking conditions, payment deadlines, inclusions and other event-specific terms may vary between experiences and will be communicated before or during the booking process.

Where event-specific terms differ from these general Terms & Conditions, the event-specific terms will apply to that experience.

4. Prices and Payments

Prices will be communicated in connection with each experience.

Unless stated otherwise, prices are expressed in euros (€).

VAT, taxes, service charges or other applicable fees will be indicated where relevant.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. DressCode Society does not necessarily store complete payment-card or banking information.

Where payment is divided into a deposit and balance, the applicable amounts and deadlines will be communicated before booking.

Failure to make a required payment by the stated deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

All bookings and payments made to DressCode Society are non-refundable.

Once a booking has been confirmed, no refund will be issued if a guest cancels, is unable to attend, changes their plans or fails to attend the experience.

Where payment is made in instalments or by deposit followed by a balance, all amounts already paid are non-refundable.

Any remaining balance must still be paid in accordance with the payment schedule agreed for the relevant experience, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing by DressCode Society.

Where permitted by DressCode Society, a guest may request to transfer their booking to another person in accordance with Section 6 of these Terms & Conditions.

If DressCode Society cancels an experience and does not provide a reasonable alternative or rescheduled date, amounts paid for the cancelled experience will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

6. Transfers and Guest Substitutions

Tickets, reservations or places may not be resold commercially without prior written permission from DressCode Society.

Where permitted, a participant may request that their place be transferred to another person, subject to:

  • advance approval from DressCode Society;

  • availability and event requirements;

  • provision of the replacement guest’s details;

  • any applicable administrative or supplier costs.

DressCode Society reserves the right to refuse a proposed substitution where there is a legitimate operational, safety or event-related reason.

7. Event Programmes and Changes

DressCode Society carefully plans each experience, but certain elements may be subject to change.

We may make reasonable changes to:

  • schedules;

  • venues or rooms within a venue;

  • entertainment;

  • performers;

  • suppliers;

  • menus;

  • activities;

  • transport arrangements;

  • event timings;

  • other programme elements.

Such changes may be necessary because of weather, supplier availability, venue requirements, safety considerations, regulatory requirements or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where a significant change materially affects the nature of the experience, DressCode Society will communicate this to participants as soon as reasonably practicable.

8. Force Majeure and Circumstances Beyond Our Control

DressCode Society is not responsible for failure or delay in performing its obligations where caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

These may include, for example:

  • extreme weather;

  • natural disasters;

  • fire;

  • strikes or industrial action;

  • transport disruption;

  • government action;

  • public-health restrictions;

  • security incidents;

  • civil disturbance;

  • venue closure;

  • supplier failure beyond our reasonable control;

  • other unforeseen events making performance impossible, unsafe or impracticable.

In such circumstances, DressCode Society may modify, postpone, relocate or cancel an experience.

Any refund, credit or alternative arrangement will be determined in accordance with applicable law, event-specific terms and amounts recoverable from suppliers.

9. Dress Code

Dress code is an integral part of many DressCode Society experiences.

Guests are expected to respect any dress code, theme or styling requirements communicated for an event.

Where a dress code is expressly stated as mandatory, DressCode Society reserves the right to refuse entry where a guest has clearly disregarded the requirement.

Any such decision will be made reasonably and taking into account the circumstances.

10. Conduct

Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards:

  • other guests;

  • DressCode Society staff;

  • venue staff;

  • performers;

  • suppliers;

  • local residents;

  • property and venues.

Disruptive, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, dangerous or unlawful behaviour will not be tolerated.

DressCode Society may refuse entry or require a guest to leave an experience where reasonably necessary to protect the safety, comfort or integrity of the event.

In serious cases of misconduct, no refund may be due, subject to applicable law.

11. Health, Safety and Personal Responsibility

Participants are responsible for assessing whether they are able to take part safely in activities included in an experience.

Guests should inform DressCode Society in advance of relevant dietary requirements, allergies, accessibility needs or other information reasonably necessary for safe participation.

Participants remain responsible for their personal belongings.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be prohibited by applicable law.

12. Travel, Accommodation and Third-Party Services

Unless expressly included in the event price, guests are responsible for arranging their own:

  • flights;

  • accommodation;

  • visas;

  • travel insurance;

  • local transportation;

  • personal expenses.

DressCode Society may recommend or assist with third-party providers, hotels, restaurants, concierge services or transport arrangements.

Where a service is supplied directly by a third party, that provider’s own terms and conditions may also apply.

DressCode Society is not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of third-party providers except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Photography, Filming and Media

DressCode Society experiences may be photographed or filmed.

Images and recordings may be used for purposes including:

  • event documentation;

  • the DressCode Society website;

  • social media;

  • editorial content;

  • promotional materials;

  • future event communications.

Where required by applicable law, guests will be informed and appropriate consent or another lawful basis will be used.

Guests who have specific concerns about appearing in photographs or video should contact DressCode Society before the event or speak to a member of the team on site.

Commercial photography, professional filming or publication by guests for commercial purposes may require prior written permission.

14. Intellectual Property

The DressCode Society name, logo, branding, website design, written materials, photographs, videos and other original content are protected by intellectual-property rights where applicable.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited or used without prior permission from DressCode Society or the relevant rights holder.

Nothing in these Terms transfers intellectual-property rights to users or participants.

  • impersonate another person;

  • use the website for fraudulent or unlawful activity.

DressCode Society may change, suspend or discontinue portions of the website where reasonably necessary.

16. Privacy and Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Cookies and similar technologies are governed by our Cookie Policy.

By making a reservation or attending an experience, you acknowledge that certain personal data may need to be processed in order to administer your booking and participation.

17. Communications

Event-related communications may be sent by email or other contact methods you provide.

Guests are responsible for ensuring that their contact information is accurate and for checking communications relating to their booking.

Marketing communications will only be sent where permitted under applicable law.

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

18. Liability

DressCode Society will exercise reasonable care in organising and delivering its experiences.

To the extent permitted by law, DressCode Society is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses arising from participation in an experience or use of the website.

DressCode Society is not responsible for losses caused solely by:

  • the participant’s own acts or omissions;

  • independent third-party providers;

  • circumstances beyond DressCode Society’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

19. Complaints

If you have a concern regarding a booking or experience, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to address the issue.

Complaints may be sent to:

hello@dresscodesociety.com

Please include your name, the relevant experience and a clear description of the issue.

20. Changes to These Terms

DressCode Society may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version applicable to an event booking will normally be the version in force when the booking was made, together with any event-specific terms agreed at that time.

Updated general Terms will be published on our website with the date of the latest revision.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
